Review of Timothee Chalamet’s Favorite NYC Eats

Sick of all your current eating spots? Wanna dine like a true New Yorker? A true actor? Then Timothée Chalamet has got you. We tried two of Lil Timmy Tim’s favorite New York City spots, which he revealed during an interview with Frank Ocean in an issue of VMAN

Since Syracuse kids loveeee to preach how close we are to the city, then it’s time to start acting like real New Yorkers and make the trip, and when you do… eat like Timmy T at these NYC hot spots:

  • MUD

Located in the East Village, MUD is a vibey little coffee and breakfast spot that is perfect for a chill morning. All-day brunch, buttermilk pancakes, and the sickest bathroom ever, MUD is a most. Not to mention that everyone that works (and eats) there is insanely good-looking. It is possible that being a model is a job requirement. Whether you go for the hot wait staff or the cool ambiance make sure you check it out next time you take your semesterly trip to the city. Want to be exactly like Timmy? Try out his order! According to our waitress, he orders a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and a cappuccino. Yummy yummy. The breakfast sounds good too!

Afterwards, you can walk off your breakfast by hitting some of the amazing vintage shops in the area. Shoutout Fantastic Fanny’s for the coolest vintage sunnies ever!!

  • Tompkin Square Bagels

Also located in the East Village (with two different locations, Tompkin Square Bagels is the best bagel spot in the city according to Mr. Chalamet. This is a bold statement. The BEST bagels in NYC. We, of course, had to try for ourselves, and we were not disappointed. With an extensive menu of bagel types, cream cheese flavors, and deli meats, making your own perfect bagel sandwich has never been easier. We opted for an egg and cheese with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel. 10/10. Take a chill in Tompkin Square Park while you eat, enjoy the people watching and live music.

TSB gets the Jerk Stamp of Approval.

All in all, it looks like our husband Timothée knows what the fuck he’s talking about when it comes to the best food in the city. Were we ever really going to question him though. If you’re ever wondering where the Jerk team is: the answer is camping out in the East Village in hopes of running into the man himself.
