Who Knew Kim Kardashian Was Funny

Kim Kardashian West, infamous influencer and beauty guru, was the newest Saturday Night Live host and we have just one thing to say: whoever wrote her script needs a raise. Let’s just say Kim was taking shots and nobody was safe. She poked fun at all members of her family in her introduction, including but not limited to: her mom, Kris Jenner, Kris’ boyfriend Cory, her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, and even her (soon to be ex) husband, Kanye West. Someone add comedian to Kim’s resume.

We all knew Kim was going to stunt on us with her outfits, opening up the show in a hot pink Balenciaga bodysuit, but we were not expecting her to stunt on us with her jokes. Kardashian West was calm, cool, and collected while delivering her lines in comedy sketches, ranging from playing herself in a new Skims ad for dogs to playing Princess Jasmine and smooching Pete Davidson. Yep, you read that right. Ouch Kanye, that one stings.

Our favorite sketch had to be “The Dream Guy”, a Bachelorette satire where Kardashian West played single-girl Rochelle, passing out “tokens” to all her dream men. Not only did Kim slay in her delivery but we got special guest appearances from all our favorite hunks: Chase Crawford, Jesse Williams, Chris Rock, John Cena, Brooklyn Nets’ power-forward, Blake Griffin, and our favorite Bachelorette dreamboat, Tyler C. Even Amy Schumer was pining after Rochelle. We can’t wait to see how this season ends.

The most surprising sketch, however, had to be the “Ladies Night” sketch, where she can be found in a club, dancing and rapping: two things Kim has made clear she is not a fan of.

Basically, if you missed last Saturday’s airing of the episode, then you missed out on a shitload of drama fueled jokes. Suffice to say, Kim surpassed all our expectations.
