The dreaded drunk text. We’ve all done it, and we’ve all regretted it the next morning while waiting for their response in the midst of an excruciating hangover. Unless you’re Lizzo.

The singer once again takes the title as the world’s biggest badass after she released a TikTok of a flirty conversation between her and America’s heartthrob, Chris Evans. Could this be the beginning of Chrizzo?

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves yet. The Marvel actor who has stolen the hearts of every girl on the Internet has not publicly dated anyone since 2018 when his on-again-off-again relationship with “Gifted” co-star Jenny Slate ended. Despite rumors about a fling with Lily James last summer, Evans seemed to be enjoying the single life. That is until Lizzo, in classic Lizzo-fashion, posted a TikTok showing a pic of a flirty dm convo between him and her, challenging followers at their pause game.

The video flashed the screenshot of the singer shooting her shot after a night of a little too much fun, and even though she tried to delete the drunk text, he responded to her flirty string of emojis — ALSO FLIRTING. He told Lizzo not to stress about drunk dming saying “god knows I’ve done worse on this app.” (That one time he accidentally posted a nude photo to his story???) Lizzo managed to respond to it pretty smoothly though (take notes, everyone).

And Evans responded AGAIN saying he was a fan (as if he couldn’t be any more attractive, he has great taste in music). He added a bunch of Xs onto the dm too. A little old-fashioned, but we kind of love the quirkiness.

Even though it is covered by a comment, the convo seems to continue, which leads us and the rest of the Internet to wonder, will Lizzo be the one to move past the dreaded talking stage and snag our lovable Captain America, living out all our fantasies? Even though they just started texting, many fans are loving the idea and wanting all the juicy details, but with Evans’ large female fanbase, Lizzo might wind up with some nasty comments from jealous fans. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time a couple broke up because of a fanbase. But until anything official happens, we’re rooting for team Chrizzo!
