Backdrop: A Look Into the Offices of Romura Film & Video: Two SU alumns and a current student live their dream sequence at their own production company

Kyle Corea, Jamil Munoz, and Danila Usov dreamed up Romura Film and Video, their production company, in Spring 2011. They've shot local band Sophistafunk, "Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds", and construction company commercials, along with ads to sell Corea's Subaru Legacy on Craigslist. Usov, a senior at Syracuse University, and Munoz and Corea, both SU graduates, met as film majors in SU's School of Visual and Performing Arts. "I'm more into narrative," Munoz says. "Kyle's into documentary, and Danila is stranger." But they share a vision: to earn enough through odd projects to one day finance their own feature film.
