On February 12, HBO aired the last season premiere episode of a show dear to most of our hearts—Girls. If only we could all have a cool girl gang as unique as the one on the show. With Hannah’s courage, Shosh’s wild style, Jessa’s sassiness, and Marnie’s neuroticism, there’s no shortage of drama or love between the four girls.

Most of us are familiar with the show thanks to the fame of creator and star Lena Dunham. She probably said some shit or did something that pissed you off, too. That wouldn’t be surprising. Although Dunham has had her controversies, Girls has overwhelmingly been a success. A social rights activist, writer, and body confidence enthusiast, Dunham has managed to write a show about what life may be like after we graduate and realize we have no fucking idea what we’re doing.

Thanks to Dunham we have also been introduced to the amazing beauty and talent of Allison Williams (Marnie), Zosia Mamet (Shosh), and Jemima Kirke (Jessa). Although completely different, each with her own slightly troubling yet endearing personality traits, the four friends balance each other as they all try to gain some semblance of normal adulthood.

So, as an ode to the past six seasons of love, tears, style, greatness, and more, we’re going to break it down for you: a style guide for each of the Girls.

To start off, let’s go with Hannah. The real reason why we came to know and love the show in the first place. She’s probably the least fashion-forward of the bunch, but hannah_girlswhat she lacks in style she makes up in being herself. With a quirky vintage vibe going on, Hannah Horvath chooses comfort over cost and usually rolls out of bed in undies and a tight tank hugging all the wrong areas. See inspiration below if you think that sounds like you:

This ModCloth romper is soooo something we could see Hannah rocking on a summer day out in the city. Maybe getting some ice cream and then, of course, dropping it all over herself. If you’re interested in channeling your inner 80s teacher style, check it out!

On to token-best-friend Marnie, with the glamorous exterior but oh-so-torn interior. She has the ladylike type-A vibe going on, but as we’ve seen from the past five years of getting to know her on the show, Marnie is slowly unraveling at the seams. Williams’ character wears a more proper look than her friends, something for which a young soccer mom would most likely strive. Go get some pearls out of that jewelry box, a pencil skirt from the business section of Nordstrom’s, a blouse and some heels, and marnie_girlsyou have a typical Marnie Michaels day at the office outfit.

The lovely Shoshanna has kept us on our toes over the years. From her move to Tokyo and rocking a pair of fuzzy cat ears, to a brunch/Breakfast at Tiffany’s style, Shosh’s aesthetic is anything but boring. Feeling a little extra cheery today? shosh_girlsGo find a colorful top, a pair of tights, a bedazzled skirt, black booties, and you just may find yourself channeling your inner Shoshanna Shapiro.

This cat in a tea cup sweater is for an everyday outfit Shoshanna would rock. Maybe if you buy it, you guys can be best friends, and take a little trip over to that cat café in Japan to enjoy all the fluffy kitties.

And last, but certainly not the least…the badass bitch, herself, Jessa. Her carefree Screen Shot 2017-02-24 at 7.39.06 PMattitude (and British accent) have defined this character for the past six years. A bit self destructive, and controlled by impulse, a true Jessa look would consist of the ultimate messy bun, statement earrings, and the most see-through and flowy dress you could find. Her moto? No bra, no problem.

This mesh top is perfect for all things trendy, and like we said, No bra? No problem. Jessa would still rock this mesh t-shirt.
