Wednesday_Replay It’s great we attend a school with a very diverse campus — and with all this diversity, one would only guess that our musical preferences would reflect our melting pot of a school. So, I took the liberty of asking people all over campus what their current favorite songs are and here are some of the answers I got.

“Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj “Every time I hear the song it makes me want to start twerking!”– Sarah S, sophomore

“Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran “They are the most beautiful lyrics I’ve ever heard in my life, and to me it sounds more like a poem, not a song.” – Sydney T, freshman

“Partition” by Beyoncé “That song LITERALLY makes me want to let out my inner stripper every time I hear it!” – Jessica D, junior

“Lifestyle” by Rich Gang “Every time I hear this song, no matter where I am, it makes me feel like I’m in VIP at the club popping bottles!” – Ray D, junior

“Reflections” by Misterwives “I had never heard of them before, but ever since I heard them perform this live at Juice Jam I’ve been addicted to it.” – Alyssa B, freshman

“Dirt” by Florida Georgia Line “I’m from the south and I feel like country music is SO unappreciated here at Syracuse. I literally listen to this song 10 times a day.” – Jackie F, sophomore

“3005” by Childish Gambino “I love this song because it doesn’t sound like anything else out there and Gambino is such a dope rapper.” – Roy J, junior

“Habits (Stay High) by Tove Lo “This song is just so relatable to my life. From the production to the lyrics, I just love it.” – Erin M, sophomore

“All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor “I love this song because of its message and how catchy the lyrics are.” – Christine H, junior

“Cool Kids” by Echosmith “This song is AMAZING to me because Echosmith is one of my favorite artists and I’m happy for the success of it. They deserve it!” – Matthew W, junior

“0 to 100” by Drake “Drake is the best rapper in the game right now and you can play this song anywhere and people will love it.” – Josh H, sophomore

“Black Widow” by Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora “It’s a song I can play at the gym and get pumped up to or hear at a party and makes me want to dance all night.” – Jamie S, freshman

“Latch” by Disclosure “I’ve literally been listening to this song for about a year and it STILL hasn’t got old yet.” – Jake M, junior

“Animals” by Maroon 5 “I love this song because Adam Levine’s voice is perfection.” – Amber T, freshman

“2 On” by Tinashe “Every time I hear this song it just makes me want to go to a party and dance on tables all night!” – Hilary H, sophomore
