Leave Bruce Jenner Alone

Bruce Jenner seen arriving at Elton John concert at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles For those who have followed the Kardashians over the years, it is obvious that Bruce’s appearance has slightly changed. And by slightly, I mean, he looks pretty fucking different.

His shining star moment in the Olympics marked the beginning of Bruce’s famous longer, flowy ‘do. But since his divorce from Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, Bruce’s appearance gradually has become closer to that of a woman. Here, a helpful before and after:

His hair is now shoulder-length. His ears are pierced. His Adam’s apple has (reportedly) been shaved. His nails have even been done up with a French manicure. So, is Bruce Jenner actually transitioning into womanhood?

InTouch Weekly believes so. In its January 26 issue, the magazine published a cover story titled, “Bruce’s Story: My Life As a Woman.” The cover featured a heavily photoshopped photo of Bruce with thin eyebrows, blushed cheeks, coral pink lips and a hideous scarf. Overall, the cover story is absurd — and we all know if Bruce were to become a woman, he would look much better than this photo portrayed him.

Bruce’s ex Kris was reportedly extremely upset over the cover and since cut off all communication with Bauer publications. Us Weekly reported Bruce was also offended over the cover (who wouldn’t be?) and will address his changing appearance on the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

As we all know, the Kardashian family is pretty much an open book. We’ve seen Kourtney give birth to two kids and Kim come to the realization she wanted a divorce. But a subject as sensitive as a gender transition might need to be left behind closed doors. Bruce has already been under immense scrutiny from his family and the media because of his appearance. Isn’t it time we leave the poor guy alone to live his life, however he chooses to live it?

In the words of Kim, who famously cropped out daughter North West from an Instagram selfie: "Can I live?!?!"
